Kendall Scott (Celia, Touchstone)

Kendall Scott is a senior at New York University, majoring in Drama at Tisch School of the Arts. Recently, she’s been working behind the scenes, having her directorial debut of “What Every Girl Should Know” by Monica Byrne this past fall through NYU’s feminist theatre company. She also serves as Artistic Director of Fine Line Theatre Company and works within production of the feminist theatre company.

She’s so excited to be back on the stage. Her primary studio training was the Atlantic Acting School, which gave her some of her favorite past credits - such as Brutus in “Julius Caesar” and Jane Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice”.

Kendall is deeply infatuated with acting as the art of being human—of living truthfully through imagined worlds. As a Black woman, her identity is inseparable from her work, informing every choice, rhythm, and moment on stage. There is not a world where she is not a Black woman, and her art is no exception.

She is so thrilled to share the labor of love that Classical Studio’s “As You Like It” is. It really is a beautiful conglomerate of everyone’s dreams. Enjoy this fantastic show!
