Sofia Goorno (Celia, Touchstone)
Sofia Goorno is a NYC-based actor, writer, & artist. Originally from Acton, MA, Sofia is an NYU
Tisch Senior studying Drama and Creative Writing. She has previously trained at the Meisner
Studio, and had the pleasure of studying acting in Berlin, at Tisch’s Stanislavski, Brecht, &
Beyond actor training program in collaboration with The Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art.
Recent performances include Twelfth Night, The Chekhov Project, and U.S. Drag at the Meisner
Studio, and ongoing performances for The Dirty Ladiez of P&P, a new play by Laini Sharifi.
Recent film credits include Lottie Baby, which premiered at the Montclair Film Festival and won
Best Student Film at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, and Right to Privacy directed
by Julie Herlocker. Sofia is incredibly grateful to this cast and crew, to the wonderful professors
at The Classical Studio, and to Mom, Dad, and Sam.
